Foundation Scores Another Touchdown with Pre-Bowl Bash

State Senator Jim Durkin and Interim Superintendent Robert Madonia joined more than 200 parents, teachers, administrators and community members that donated their time and money to the foundation.  By Amanda Luevano | Lemont Patch Posted February 9, 2012 The Lemont-Bromberek Combined School District 113A Educational Foundation kicked off Super Bowl weekend by raising $15,000 for academic grants and programs in the district's three schools. More than 200 people attended the foundation's second annual "Pre-Bowl Bash," held Saturday at Ruffled Feathers Golf Club. The event featured a night of dining and dancing, silent auctions and raffles — all to benefit the students and teachers of District 113A. The SD113A Educational Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity, committed to improving academic outcomes for all students in the Lemont-Bromberek Combined School District 113A. We collaborate with the school board, school administration and staff, PTA/PTO and other organizations in our area to help achieve district-aligned goals and objectives.
